Minutes of Meeting

• A new IQAC body is formed.
• Head of the Institute Principal Dr. G. Prasanna Lakshmi organised a workshop on Teaching Methodologies for the faculty members.
• Department of Mineral Beneficiation organised a one-day workshop for Alumni students along with pursuing students of II B.Sc (MGC & MGM).
• All faculty members are instructed to focus more on improving students’ attendance and academic results.
• Keep the campus always neat, clean, and disciplined.
• All faculty members are instructed to conduct regular classes and improve student attendance.
• Articles related to subjects or any other research by faculty and students should be presented at internal workshops and seminars.
• The Placement Cell should be monitored continuously by the IQAC Co-ordinator, and placement activities should be reviewed.
• The library should be updated with recent books and new academic textbooks.
• Recommendation regarding conduction of CRT classes by the student member of IQAC.
• Teaching methodologies and laboratory methodologies to be discussed.

• To improve the quality of teaching.
• Individual student feedback has to be taken as per the NAAC Criteria.
• From improving student attendance need to check as per mentor follow ups.
• Every faculty member has to submit the articles.
• Discussion about free journals, free articles for the student sake and faculty sake.
• Introduce a digital library (NDL).
• Discussion on execution of practices quality has to be improved.
• Spoken English sessions have to be conducted to faculty and students by Head of the Institute.
• Mentoring sessions have to be conducted to students.
• Coordinator of IQAC suggested that bookz.com, sci-hub for downloading books and pdf documents.
• Faculty members to enrol PhD’s for their betterment.
• Placements have to be improved in the campus.
• Discussion on the ERP (enterprises resources planning).
